It was tradition to have pheasant for dinner opening day. Dad would say, "We need to educate the pheasants, so they will not all get shot the first day. I started taking hunters for pay in 1997, before there were many free hunts. I enjoy the sport of hunting and taking people hunting. The same group of hunters, which came in 1997, still hunt with me today and make reservations for the next year when they leave. Fellow sports enthusiasts from across the country come to experience the gratification of a great We are not a place where we take as many hunters as we possibly can.
